Spring Trend Alert: Pink & Orange

Attention! My trend alert prediction is that Pink and Orange are going to be very “Hot” for 2014!

I love these two colors together as they are a wonderful and refreshing departure from blue!  I was so excited during my recent trip to Market to see color paired together, and looking fabulous if you ask me!

So, what happens when we see a trend emerging?  Well, the first thing I do is get extremely excited (if I am in love with it!) and then I start to browse books, magazines, Pinterest, wallpaper books, fabrics, etc. and begin pulling out these colors, getting inspired and then look for opportunities to share with a colorful client.  Color takes up residence all around us!  It’s a funny thing, you know.  Once I set my eye on a trend or a certain color(s) that I love, I start seeing it everywhere!

Here are some super cute finds to get with the trend!

Fabulous throw pillow to brighten any room from Joss & Main.

I stumbled upon this amazing website, Style Your Life, where you can actually hire a virtual stylist to help you discover your personal style! I am loving it!

Blast from the past! Pink and orange also give tribute to the color prints of the late 60’s and early 70’s! I found this little number on etsy.

Don’t want to commit to painting a whole room or buying new throw pillows? These colors are super playful! Choose a pink and orange theme for your next girls gathering! Find these cute straws on etsy!

The pink and orange queen herself, Lilly Pulitzer never disappoints when it comes to pairing amazing and bright colors together! She has some amazing dresses on the site for spring (with pink and orange paired with turquoise!). A scarf is a super simple and easy way to dress up with the spring trends!
