Show me your”GREEN”… PART 1

Brighter Green: Lime Granita. Great for Kids Rooms!

A Stronger, Bolder Shade: Luau Green

Universally, I find the color green to be a client and a designer favorite.  Green, in its vast and varying shades, evokes a certain restfulness if used in its more muted shades and a certain energy when used in it’s brighter hue.  I am a big fan of what I like to term “the new neutrals”, and green certainly fits the bill in being a great base color with which to build a color scheme for an entire house without looking too contrived.

So, in honor of St. Patties Day, I am choosing a few of my favorite uses of green and my favorite shades.  Why don’t you tell me which shades you have worked with and which ones you like best as well? Inserted into this post are some of my fave Sherwin-Williams paint shades, including the two grey-greens below:

This St. Patty’s Day, why not give green a try? Whether dark and sultry or light and airy, there is a shade that will suits every style and need. So, give it a try…. “GO GREEN!
