My Secret Weapon (blog posts!) for the Holidays!
Over the years my “It’s So Fabulous” blog has seen it’s share of Christmases. Each year I am reminded (either from a client, my own experience or simply brainstorming about ALL of the things I want you to know) of how the stresses of the holiday can wreak havoc on the simple joys of preparing your home for the festivities to come. From planning your decorating accordingly to tips and tricks to get that “magazine finished look” to your room, I would love for nothing more than to hear that you enjoyed a glass of wine on me with your feet up, gazing at your beautiful Christmas tree.
Here is my arsenal of favorite holiday posts over the years.
All photos are of my home from last year.
I will never forget the year I choked during the holiday season. What really “did me in” was that I opted for a faux tree to save a little time, energy and extra vacuuming up the bristles. The result? A very UNhappy me and new strategy to bring the fresh green into my home. From trees to bows to making a unforgettable entrance, these secret weapons come out in my tool box every year.
Overwhelmed by the thought of “decorating your entire house” for the season? Shift your focus to five key areas and give your stress level a chill pill.
Red and green just not your thing? Are you just so absolutely in love with your current decor that you would love to just blend your Christmas decorations with your year-round blue and white china? Well, you can! And, I blogged about it!
Just a few tips for making your Christmas tree lighting go a little bit smoother…
And of course, my latest series for the holiday where I share my step by step process from planning to installation (which actually begins in early fall, but no matter where you are in the process this blog series will be extremely helpful – if not for this year then definitely for next!
