Luxury South Carolina Interior Designer is in LOVE with Fabric

For anyone who has visited Knotting Hill Interiors, you obviously know what an incredible passion I have for fabric.  With over 2,000 designer fabrics on hand and sold by the yard in the store, I am proud to say that we boast the best collection of fabrics in all of South Carolina and a decent one enough to rival with the entire southeast.

While a designer selects the fabric and decides on which piece of furniture or drapery will live, in reality it is sort of like I get to plant the seed somewhere in the home where it will grow or blossom.  Where the seed itself comes from, is the mystery.  Revealed here in this blog post is a nod to the artists that fill my canvas with color and with whom I work with side by side each day, each yard the inspiration to bring another room or another home to life.

We pride ourselves in working with reliable and household names like Duralee, the 5th largest fabric distributor in the world and in celebrating their 60th year in business! The fabric on the right with the cute elephants is made in their own shop in Guatemala City, Guatemala by Opciones Internacional. The tassels were custom made for a client by Guatemalan artisans.

Founded in France in 1900, Brunschwig & Fils has legacy of design, a history of service, exceptional quality, attention to detail and superb craftsmanship that are the hallmarks of their products. Designer and manufacturer of contemporary and historically-inspired decorative fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings and upholstered furniture and furnishings.

Kasmir Fabrics are one of my favorites!  For almost half a century Kasmir has been a trusted international resource to the interior design community serving designers from start to finish.

For over 140 years, Stroheim as been a leading resource for exquisite, fine-quality fabrics, wallcoverings and trimmings for the most discerning clientele – a major landmark in our industry. Stroheim has always stayed ahead of the prevailing trends in designs and color, remaining traditional yet always up-to-date.

Whether you are looking for an elaborate window treatment or the smallest detail or a tassle or bead on your newly upholstered ottoman, Knotting Hill Interiors strives to bring you the latest colors, trimmings and wall coverings while remaining timeless and classic.
