Color Crush – In the Navy
Navy – The Quintessential Neutral!
While I have shared that ANY color can become your neutral, from a trend point of view and what I saw at Market this year – Navy is the quintessential neutral. It is so hot right now and I am just tickled that I recently designed a family t.v. room in it.
The navy walls really act as the “neutral” for the room! We have so many other bright colors and patterns happening and navy is a perfect back drop!
It pairs up with just about any color and is also a “forever classic.” With its meaning tied to our countries rich heritage and tradition, it is a perfect color for any room in a Southern home that wants to create a timeless look.

Navy blue and raspberry is such an elegant color combination. I love eating, dressing and designing in these colors!
Design hero Mary McDonald going bold with geometric floors and adding a pop of raspberry.
Would LOVE to find a bachelor client who would be willing to do a room like this for his gentlemen’s suite! Designed by the fabulous Martyn Lawrence Bullard.
Loving this navy with lime green as an outdoor look for summer!

Adorable as a color scheme for the kids bedroom or playroom! I really like the different pattern throw pillows on the bed as well. Just caught my eye and think it is so clever!
