A Week of Renovations: Featuring Edward Friend of Excalibur Construction

This week will be all about a very popular topic… HOME RENOVATIONS! I am so excited to have been given the opportunity to interview an extremely knowledgeable and experienced home builder, Edward Friend, of Excalibur Construction. Eddie is a personal friend of mine, who I have collaborated on many interior design projects with. By becoming the first Certified Master Builder in Horry County – and only the 6th in South Carolina (read more about his extensive qualifications by clicking that link) – Eddie’s quest for excellence has set him apart as THE premier Custom Home Builder! He is truly and fabulously talented, and you will have the chance to hear some of his “nuggets of knowledge” this week, as he is featured in a 2-part video blog interview. For today, take a look at a tiny snippet of his work, and be sure to visit his website (click the previous link in this post) to see more of his design portfolio…..

As a preview to the video interviews with Eddie this week, here are a few quotes from him to whet your appetitie on what’s to come….

“Nobody wants to waste money or space in their home today. People just want to get the most they can get out of their home in both dollars and in space…”

“The single biggest trend [in renovations and construction] that we are seeing today is toward multi-functional spaces and overall openness of the home.”

“We are also seeing a lot more focus on indoor/outdoor types of living areas.”

“The best spaces to invest your renovation and construction dollars are… ” (Watch the vlogs this week to find out more!)

“An interior designer can be a great asset to a homeowner and builder right from the very beginning…”

NOW, GO HAVE AN “It’s So Fabulous!” DAY!
